As a senior partner, John Mazzola oversees many aspects of CREATIVE, a leading financial firm serving closely-held family businesses. Regarded for his expertise in preparing his clients to realize their financial goals, Mr. Mazzola maintains a high level of client retention, with trusted relationships spanning more than three decades. His passionate commitment to building and maintaining quality relationships has been instrumental in growing the company that provides outstanding service that CREATIVE is known for today.

Raised in South Philadelphia by his Italian immigrant parents, who operated a successful construction business, Mr. Mazzola holds a deep appreciation for the challenges that family-owned businesses face in creating wealth and transferring assets to future generations.

As a financial advisor for owners of closely-held family businesses with net worth’s of $20-$100+ million, Mr. Mazzola focuses on fee-based planning services. Through CREATIVE, he directs a team that offers business succession planning and employee benefits and compensation design; personal estate planning and asset management products; and comprehensive financial solutions.

A 1979 graduate of Temple University. He also holds his chartered life underwriter -CLU® and chartered financial consultant – ChFC® designations from the American College.

Paying homage to his bicultural roots, Mr. Mazzola has been involved in several cultural and community organizations, and spends much of his time and resources in support of charitable groups. John currently resides in Thornton, Pennsylvania with his family. He is an ardent golfer and sports enthusiast.
