John A. Mendes started his financial planning career in 1998 and is currently a financial professional with Creative Financial Group. John attended Monmouth University earning a Degree in Business along with a Minor in Psychology.

John is a frequent speaker on Financial Education, conducting seminars and workshops at local adult schools, colleges, and corporations throughout New Jersey. John is an advocate for Financial Literacy, and through educating the public he helps people understand and address their financial concerns and responsibilities. John has continually furthered his education earning the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation along with becoming a Chartered Advisor for Senior Living(CASL) and a Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow(LUTCF). Throughout his career John has also achieved Million Dollar Round Table status, along with many company honors for excellence in Financial Planning and Wealth Management.

John currently resides in Farmingdale, NJ with his wife Krista, son Aiden, and daughter Mia. John enjoys playing golf and other outdoor activities and most importantly, spending quality time with his family.
